Program Overview
Our Gastroenterology Training Program is designed for physicians and gastroenterology residents who wish to advance their knowledge and skills in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of gastrointestinal diseases.
The program combines clinical observation, endoscopic training, and case-based discussions under the supervision of experienced gastroenterologists in university hospitals and accredited training centers. Participants will gain hands-on exposure to the latest diagnostic and therapeutic techniques in digestive health.
What Fellows Will Learn
Participants will develop clinical competence and practical insight in:
Upper and Lower GI Endoscopy Procedures (gastroscopy, colonoscopy, biopsy techniques)
ERCP and EUS Observation (for eligible levels)
Liver and Pancreatic Disease Management
Diagnostic Imaging and Interpretation (ultrasound, CT, MRI in gastroenterology)
Patient Consultation and Clinical Case Discussions
Post-procedure Care and Complication Management
Research Methods and Presentation of Clinical Findings

Application Process
Required Documents: CV, medical diploma, gastroenterology specialty certificate (or proof of ongoing residency), and international exam scores (if applicable).
Application Fee: Refundable processing fee (e.g. €500) submitted with the application.
Review Period: 30–90 days after receipt of all required documents.
Notification: Accepted candidates receive an official acceptance letter; those not selected will receive a full refund of the application fee.

Assistance with visa documentation and acceptance letter.
Airport pickup and accommodation arrangements during the training period.
A certificate of completion is awarded by the host university hospital upon successful completion of the program.
