Robotic Fellowship Course
The da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgery System
A four-day course at a university hospital in Istanbul introducing the function, ergonomics and core techniques of the da Vinci Xi Surgical System, from port placement and docking to robotic dissection, suturing and knot tying.
Duration 4 days · da Vinci Xi Surgical System

Get to know the da Vinci Xi, from docking to suturing
A focused introduction to robotic surgery with the da Vinci Xi Surgical System.
You learn how the system works, its ergonomics and robotic instrumentation, and how to select patient position, surgical team position and the right robotic approach for each procedure.
Technical sessions cover scientific port placement and docking, the baseball diamond concept, robotic tissue dissection with different energy sources, intracorporeal suturing and knot tying, and practical "tricks of the trade" for efficient, complication-free robotic surgery.
